Attention all Metro Detroit Photo Students or emerging photographers. I’m looking to grow the Detroit photo industry with reliable, professional assistants in this photo assistant workshop. This full day workshop is hosted by Dayspace Studios in Royal Oak, MI and will include breakfast and lunch.
Attendees will not only learn how to set up studio gear and get hands on experience with Profoto strobes, battery power packs and a variety of light modifiers and grip equipment but also how important set etiquette is & being efficient on set . I'll will share my experiences of what an assistant will most likely encounter on an editorial or commercial photo shoot, what you to do on set, what to be prepared for, and marketing yourself as a photo assistant.
